Ilyona, better known as Ily, had left the mounds to attend to her own little 'guard' setup. Well, it was more like being lazy and relaxing than standing guard. The dark lioness had left for the elephant graveyard, the bigg mammth-like skull in the middle being her stage. She amused herself with small tally makrs with her claws of how many times she saw a dead pridelander. So far, three. Mostly annoying cubs that she could see from the top of pride rock, wagging their tails and oeering as their parents gave them a lecture about the territory. Ilyona let out a tired, raspy, breath as she tallied the last one. Night was falling and she didn't quite feel like going home, the crawling fleas of the other's as well sounded less appealing. Her eyes closed, her ears laid back and her paws hung as she laid on the tusk of the grand skull. CRACK Her blue and green eyes stretched. Ily knew that sound, the crack of claw on bone, it was a soothing sound really. "Didn't care for fleas either?" She joked calling out to her visitor, whoever that may be.

The young lean lion was far from happy with his current surroundings. The tall, looming skeletal structures chilled the cat to the bone and Sparrow wished to find the quickest way out. He had a few choice words for the wily meerkat whom he had been chasing. It had lead him into this crazy, sadistic maze and made itself scarce, leaving the young lion empty-stomached and lost. Which he normally was, but, of all the places to have gotten lost in, this one was unappealing. He was immensely careful, shuddering as he passed the bones of an unfortunate cub. Usually, Sparrow was rather withdrawn, never fearful or angry, but, when he'd seen those bones, all he could think was, That could have been me. Marc and Sebbat could have never found me and I could've died like that cub.
He was becoming uncharacteristically uneasy, jumping at the slightest of noises, shuddering at the screech of a vulture. So his nerves were on end, and with it, the young cat might've slipped up a little. Because when he saw the other lion, he didn't think about the fact that there was any less danger. Maybe there was more. But he still stupidly felt a bit of relief. 'Didn't care for fleas either?' The lioness jokingly asked, before she had turned to see him. "Hardly, cousin. If I may be so bold to ask, do you know the way out of this boneyard?" Said the young lion wearily.

Much to her own surprise, it was not a lion of her own pride, but of that of a loner. Nonetheless, Ilyona smiled, curling her tail and gently standing to greet him. "Boneyard? I don't think of it has that deary. But more as a playground! See all the fun toys I could enjoy? Why don't I share them with you?" She smirked slightly, still joking. The brown lioness leaped down with an easy jump. Her eyes sparkled with happiness, much more than what she had before. That was because of what she had now. A friend. Well, not yet anyways. But she planned to change that. "But yes, I do happen to know they way out. Are you lost?" She questioned, padding closer for examination of the young lion.
The fog was growing thicker as night fell still, her pelt was dark in the pale light. The sky was scattered with a stream of stars and a slim claw for a moon. shadows began to dance and the wind grew chilled with Northern lands.

"I cannot imagine the bones of creatures that once walked with us being toys." Sparrow replied, but, it was a relief to see a friendly face, and he did grin slightly back. "Lost is correct, cousin. I would be quite grateful for the exit." He meowed, giving his shoulder a few quick licks. Sparrow was pretty sure the lioness was a bit older then him. They shared the dark fur, a mark of birth in the Outlands. Her eyes were a different matter, one blue and one green. Sparrows eyes were both a common yellow. He was nothing to look at, and, truth be told, he preferred it that way.

"Finding a way out..hmm, well, I guess that depends on where your going. You could go this way," She pointed her tail to the west where the sun was winking goodnight. "Or this way." It turned East. In the morning, it would return ti start the whole cycle once again. "The elephant graveyard chooses who it lets in and out cousin. And about that, may I know the pleasure of your name?" She began to pace around the young lion. He was small, a bit scrawny but what you would normally expect of a loner. He was dark like her and had pale yellow eyes that matched the dying grasses of the plains. Ilyona blinked, still pacing and judging.
