A dark furred lioness walked upon the almost bare ground. With the little rain that came, her paws picked up dust as she walked. Her dark blue eyes scanning the barren land for any sign of food. To her surprise a weak gazelle walked, or limped, it's way along. Dropping low to the ground, the lioness locked her gazed on the target. Her claw slide out from her paws and her shoulder rocked from sided to side, loosening the muscles. Then, she dashed for the prey. It ran, but it was weak and slow. The lioness leaped into the air and dug her claws in the prey's hips, dragging it down. When she had pinned it, she grabbed it's neck with her sharp white teeth and let the blood sip into her mouth, making her taste buds dance. When she was sure it had fallen limp by death, the lioness raised her head. The sound of a dead branch made her turned, her lips drawn back, "Whose there?"

A dark brute walked towards the darker female. He gave his black mane a shake, before padding towards Tisha. The brute name was Sabd, one of the pride members. "Relax it's me, not some stupid pride lander," Sadb smirked as he came up to Tisha. "Nice catch even if it is just scrapes compared to what the high and mighty pridelanders!" How he hated those lions.

Tisha looked away, she was envious of what the other lions had. The lioness disliked her mother's choose in what pride to join. If only she was in the other pride, maybe her life would be different. No, nothing would have changed. She would still be a dark furred lioness who scared away all the other cubs and she would grow distance from everyone and be jut as moody. The only thing she would have different was the food that grew wild in the pridelands. "Ya, but I don't care about those spoiled cubs. You should not give them a thought as well, Sadb." Tisha grabbed the prey by it's neck and turned towards the camp.

Sadb shook his head. "I do not give a care for them, but does not mean I am not jealous at the thought of those spoiled tamed cats running around in lands with food and water. We go hungry, because of them and it makes me furious!" Sadb then walked forward and reached down to help carry Tisha piece of prey.

Tisha normally would have pulled the catch away, but due to her lack of food, she could use the help. So, she let her ego drop for this case and allowed the male to help. Tisha looked at the ground and wished her life was different. She built up a repatriation in the pride, she was a lioness who gave a cold shoulder to everyone, even cubs. The lioness wished it was different, but the past could not be changed.

Sadb noticed the lioness sadness and took a slight pity on her, but he thought she needed to deal with the life she had and be thankful she had one. He knew one day they would have their revenge and when that day came they would be sorry. Those pridelander will regret everything they ever did to the outsiders.

"So Sadb, how did you come to be an Outlander," the Cub-mother asked. She was bored and found she knew little about the male. This seemed like a good time to dig up information. There was nothing else to do really. Walking in silence was to weird.

Sadb looked at Tisha with curiously, "My mother died birthing me. My aunt raised me with her mate and left me at 1/2 year. I traveled a month looking for them and eating scrapes. They were horrible lions, I guess this is why I am who I am. The prider chased me off when I asked for help and I ended up here," Sadb shrugged.

"Interesting, everyone here is left for dead. No one cares about the lions who are just the same as those living of a full carcass." Tisha growled in disgust as she thought of the Pridelanders. Tisha's dead mother had to come to the worst pride, the dead one. Tisha's father had to have the darkest, ugliest, fur the world had ever laid eyes on. Tisha had to be born. The lioness blamed her life on those who brought her into it, she hated everyone, because everyone hated her.

"I guess so, but we learn to deal with what we got, though," Sadb shrugged. "You make good friends and you form a stronger bond after being put through so much." Sadb though back to his aunt and uncle and let out a small growl. If he ever saw them again he'd kill them/ "And just because we were born into one family, doesn't make them our family. Our family is were our heart is."

Tisha listened to him, he was wise. Sadb was turning out to be a very good catch. He had spoken to Tisha to start with. Not many did that, but he did. He helped her with the prey and he made a conversation with her. Sadb was strong and was handsome as well. It was a rare one for sure. "Your right, it would help if the pride was a little more open to me."

"I don't understand why they are judging you so quickly, there is nothing wrong with you, Tisha," Sadb mewed. He gave the lioness a small smile. "All have to say is make them make you more a part, cause this pride is my family, so you are family. Family does not turn there back on family." Sadb felt awful for Tisha. He hated how the pride treated her. "I won't let them treat you like this anymore. Let me know right away when they treat you awful."

Tisha could fell her heart begin to pound in her chest. Her skin grew hot under her dark fur. Her blue gaze started to turned towards the lion and looked at him with soft blue eyes. He was the first, the only one who had thought different. He was only one who made her heart pound this heart. Tears began to fall from her eyes and they fell down like an endless river.

"Oh no, Tisha, I did not mean to make you cry," Sadb said as he came closer and used his tail tip to flick away her tears. "I'm sorry I made you cry. I just don't want to see you sad and now you are all sad!" Sadb started to freak out thathe made her cry. He hates hurting his pride members, his family.

Tisha spoke no words, but could feel her body begin to give out. Her dark brown head fell upon his strong white furred chest, her tears still falling. "Thank you Sadb. You are the only one who thought different of me. Thank you!" Tisha had held in all the pain of her life and Sadb manged to help her release it.

Sadb rested his head gently his head upon her head. He gave her a gentle lick on her head. "Tisha, I'm glad to help." He let out a rough purr. The male normal not one to purr, but if it will help Tisha calm and relax he will help her. "I'm always going to help, I promise."

"You will talk to me in the pride right? You won't act like you don't know me." If he answered this, the lioness might just melt. Tisha feared leaving his chest, what if she never got this back. Tisha wished not go back to her life without one friend.

"Of course I will. What I said is true. You are my friend and family, whether you like it or not," He nuzzled the lioness again, in hope of getting her to believe him. Sadb heart swell at the thought of being her friend and someone she could lean on.

Tisha could fell her body began to melt and fall against his. He had a strong scent that was overwhelming, in a good way. It made the lioness forget the world and all the hate it held. There only seemed to be Sadb and his kind heart. The world with him as her first friend. Tisha wished she had come across this lion as a cub, maybe her life would have been different, but that was a wish that could never come true, for that past can not be re-written. The lioness she pleased her head against his chest and closed her eyes, "Thank you Sadb."

Sadb warmly smiled at Tisha, "Anytime, Tisha." He took a step back and smiled at TIsha. "Wipe away those tears. Yo are to beautiful for tear, Tisha." Sadb mewed before rubbing his cheeks against her to help wipe away the tears from her cheeks. He let out out gaint smile. "See you look beautiful as ever!"
